RULE 410.        RETIREMENT                                                          REVISED DATE:


A.    MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY:

        1.    Any employee who works less than twenty (20) hours per week is not eligible for participation 
               a retirement plan.

        2.    Any employee who works twenty (20) hours per week or more shall participate in the 
                applicable retirement plan except as provided in Paragraph 3.

        3.    An otherwise eligible temporary employee whose employment is for a duration as defined in the 
                applicable retirement plan has the option of signing a waiver of membership. If a waiver is signed,
                no contribution shall be deducted from the employee's wages or paid in the employee's behalf by 
                the Court. If the employment continues beyond the period of time defined under the applicable 
                retirement plan, the employee's participation shall be established as of the beginning of the next 
                succeeding payroll period following completion of the period of time defined in the applicable 
                retirement plan.

B.    RETIREMENT:

        1.    An employee with regular status who is retired as provided under the applicable retirement plan 
                is deemed to be separated without prejudice and does not have the right of appeal to the Hearing
                Officer.
