Mohave County Superior Court Seeks Public Comment
on Judicial Applicants

The Mohave County Superior Court Judicial Nominating Committee is seeking public comment on the seven applicants who have applied for the Mohave County Superior Court judicial vacancy.  The selected applicant will complete the remaining term of Honorable James E. Chavez who is retiring effective March 31, 2009. 

A copy of the applications submitted by the above applicants can be viewed by clicking on their name below.  A copy is also available for public review from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Superior Court Administrator’s Office, Mohave County Courthouse, 401 E. Spring Street, Kingman, Arizona.   A section of each application containing personal, family, and reference information, is kept confidential for use only by the Superior Court Judicial Nominating Committee and the Governor.

Anyone from the public who wishes to comment on issues relevant to the vacant judgeship or on a particular applicant, is invited to submit a written statement to the Mohave County Superior Court Judge Nomination Committee, in care of Mr. Kip Anderson, 401 E. Spring Street, P.O. Box 7000, Kingman, Arizona, 86402 or via fax to (928)753-8908.  All written comments must include the name and signature of the individual submitting the comment and must be received by Mr. Kip Anderson no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2009.  The Court is unable to accept comments from an anonymous source.
