Manager

The Superior Court seeks to establish a hiring register for the
position of Caseflow Manager scheduled to be filled on or around January 1,
2007. Position will perform
professional administrative level work related to the management, coordination,
administration, oversight and evaluation of case management activities for the
purpose of improving case processing and related functions in the Superior
Court. The ideal candidate will possess
strong project management, data analysis, problem solving and interpersonal
communication skills, demonstrate a passion for teamwork and excellence in
customer service, and will possess necessary administrative and technical
experience including a working knowledge of Crystal Reports. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in public,
business or judicial administration or related field or equivalent, and three
(3) years of relevant, progressively responsible court operations, case management,
records management, business systems operations, business systems development
or any
equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable
knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

The Mohave County Probation Department has career opportunities available
for individuals interested in providing probation services to adult and
juvenile offenders. Deputy Probation Officers are responsible for the
supervision and investigation of adult or juvenile offenders. This involves
reviewing and investigating cases, interviewing offender and families,
preparing court reports and recommendations, and supervising adult or juvenile
probationers.
Successful applicants must be 21 years of age and must possess a
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferably in the
behavioral or social sciences, a valid Arizona driver’s license and be of good

works with and monitors effectiveness of treatment providers; prepares and
submits grant applications; complies, analyzes and monitors data to show
effectiveness of the drug court program; conducts research; prepares reports;
surveys participants; develops written protocol, procedures, program literature

conferences; reading back testimony from stenographic notes and transcripts,
and replying to correspondence related to transcripts of proceedings. The individual selected will be subject to
assignment in any Mohave County court location as needed. Requires the meeting of qualifications for
standard certification and currently hold temporary certification pursuant to
A.R.S. Title 32, chapter 40 and Arizona Code of Judicial Administration

Volunteer Opportunity
The Superior Court in
Mohave County is seeking to appoint a resident of Mohave County from the Lake
Havasu area to fill a public member vacancy on the Judicial Employee Merit
Commission. The commission meets every
other month and is responsible for advising the presiding judge on personnel
matters affecting the Superior Court which includes employees from probation
and juvenile detention, the office of the clerk of the court, conciliation
court, and the superior court divisions.
The commission is responsible for recommending rules, processes and
procedures for advancing professionalism and efficiency in the judicial
service. It is also empowered to hear
employee grievances involving matters such as application of merit system rules. Commissioners serve in a volunteer non-paid
status.
The commission is
currently comprised of public members Erin Collins, Lee Haywood and Jackie
Walker from Kingman, Carol Silverthorne from Mohave Valley, and employee member
Claudia Rutherford from CASA. The court
strives to have a diverse and broad representation on the commission.
Appointment to fill the
public member vacancy will be made by Honorable Randolph A. Bartlett, Presiding
Superior Court Judge, and the individual selected will serve a term through
March 27, 2009. Residents of Mohave
