Judge's Bio, 
Judge Jantzen was appointed to Division 4 by Governor Jan Brewer on May 22, 2009 and was elected by the voters to a full term in office in November, 2010. The division’s current case assignment includes civil cases, probates, guardianships/conservatorships, mental health cases, domestic relation cases and adult criminal cases.
Judge Jantzen served as a Superior Court Commissioner from April 2007 until May 2009 where he presided over adult criminal cases, juvenile delinquency cases and Mohave County’s first Juvenile Drug Court.
Prior to taking the bench, Judge Jantzen was a prosecutor for 16 years, 12 of which were spent with the Mohave County Attorney's Office, two with the City of Kingman and two with The State Attorney's Office in Tallahassee, Florida.
Judge Jantzen graduated from law school in May, 1991 from the University of Wyoming College of Law. He has been licensed to practice law in both Arizona and Florida. He received a B.A. in Mass Communication from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas in May, 1987.
