There are five Justice of the Peace Courts in Mohave County.  Each Justice of the Peace Court has jurisdiction over offenses committed within their respective precincts in which their court is established.  Justice of the Peace Courts process the following case types:

• Civil Claims up to $10,000
• Eviction Actions
• Small Claims
• Injunctions Against Harassment
• Orders of Protection
• County Ordinances
• Felonies
• Criminal Misdemeanors
• Civil and Criminal Traffic
• Juvenile Offenses such as Minor Purchasing, Consuming/Possessing Alcohol, Curfew, Truancy, Graffiti, Tobacco, Interfering with Judicial Proceedings, County Ordinances, Civil and Criminal Traffic (non-felony), Boating and Game and Fish violations.
